Control Techniques – manufacturer of drives and accessories
Control Techniques is focused on the development, manufacture and supply of variable speed drives, especially frequency inverters, and is one of the best and fastest growing companies in the world in this field. Control Techniques' highly reliable and technically perfect products are used in almost all sectors of industry. In addition to the familiar applications such as drives for machine-tools, textile, packaging and special machines, robots, process lines, elevators, cranes, pumps, compressors and fans, new opportunities are emerging, particularly in the field of energy-efficient drives and energy return to the grid. All of our drives stand out for their high efficiency, reliability and wide variability and adaptability, allowing them to be used in a multitude of non-standard applications. With many useful internal features, they allow you to minimize accessory costs. Of course, the supporting configuration and development software for our drives is supplied free of charge.
Main product range of the company
Commander S - Commander S is the first drive to come with an app interface as a standard feature. The Marshal app is our revolutionary way to interface with the drive covering commissioning, monitoring, diagnostics and support..
Commander C - Commander C200 and C300 is a brand new drive series that replaces the discontinued M200 and M300 series. They differ mainly in colour and several minor parameter settings. The new drives are green, the functional features of the inverters completely replicate the discontinued M200 and M300..
Commander C200 - simple and reliable motor control
Commander C300 - features the same functionality as the M200, plus two STO safety inputs
Unidrive M400 - features the same functionality as the M300, plus additional input and output options
Unidrive M700 - comprehensive performance and functional range with variable expansion possibilities
Unidrive M750 - features the same functionality as the M700, power range 0.25 - 7.6kW, new compact design with higher overload capacity
Unidrive E300 - drive containing elevator functions and interfaces for elevator applications
MENTOR MP - DC drive for DC electric motors with field control. It is mainly used in refurbishment of machines and technological lines as a replacement for Dc drives of older production date. This modern, fully digital drive ensures reliable speed control of DC electric motors from low power up to 1.5 MW.
Control Techniques variable frequency drives can control the speed of standard and special synchronous and induction motors from any manufacturer. For applications with a large control range where low speed torque is required, the motors should have foreign cooling. Control Techniques supplies synchronous servo motors and DC servo motors of its own manufacture. Asynchronous motors and DC motors are supplied by Leroy Somer, our sister company.
Control Techniques strives to minimize the environmental impact of its manufacturing operations and products. An Environmental Management System process has been implemented and is certified to the international standard ISO 14001. (Further information on this management system and our environmental policy can be found in English on the website www.greendrives.com.) Control Techniques' electrically controlled drives save energy (by increasing the efficiency of the production process) and reduce the consumption of raw materials and waste materials during their long lifetime. In typical applications, these positive environmental effects far outweigh the negative impacts of manufacturing our products. Also, when disposed of at the end of their service life, frequency inverters can be easily disassembled into components that are suitable for recycling.
